Description [-]
A game created by Sephy99 and Lucier.

"If ever there was a game with heart, it would be Genesis. Now, sometimes I wish that heart would be crushed and ripped asunder, but that is hardly the point." - Michelangelo

A long way off in a distant land, turmoil grips a small kingdom as it clutches to every last inch of hope. One day, in a small pile of ashes atop Mt. Drummond that hope hatches from a small egg. For this small kingdom, a glorious new light has risen amidts it's darkness. Well... it would have risen if that were actually the plot of this game, but it isn't.

Genesis is basically the story of Yuriko, a small town girl who is thrown into a world of pirates, money-hungry governors, man-killing owls, rabbies-infested rabbits, demons from the seventh layer of hell (scientists have yet to get back to us on exactly how many layers hell has... but we'll assume there are at least seven), drooling frogs, mermaid shop owners, a mischevious princess, Parliament members who bicker and argue (who doesn't love that?), fish that swallow men whole, and a dance number that would put Jennifer Lopez to shame.

Oh, and all this actually fits into a coherent plot. Now, to see how in the world that is possible is reason enough to download and play.

"Lucier, Sephy, and Toxic. You’ve all done a great job with Genesis, and I really enjoyed playing it. However, there’s still room for improvement, and I’ve pointed them out in the review. You’ve come far with this game, and I’m looking forward to playing the next demo, so don’t slack off and never release it, like so many other authors do. Good luck!

"You guys have a quality piece of work here. Heck, you've raised the bar of excellence throughout the community and inspired me to do my best, I'd say you guys (and girl) deserve a pat on the back. This isn't a game that should dissolve into obscurity very easily."

"Play it and move on- it's fun, but ultimately too incomplete. It needs an update."
