Description [-]
My first game, made in classic NES Dragon Warrior style. This new version (3rd version since the game's completion) features a complete graphical overhaul of the original game, plus some various tweaks in a wide variety of of categories, ranging from text boxes to attack balancing.

Take control of a band of heroes trying to save the western kingdoms from the threat of a new Empire in the east, and in so doing, become involved in an intricate plan involving an ancient prophecy and the creation of a New World. Gameplay seems to wrap up somewhere between 25-30 hours. Attractions include:

* - 12 main heroes, and places where they must all be used via multiple parties
* - First third of the game plays similarly to Dragon Warrior IV (each of the first five parts of the game involve different characters trying to accomplish different things)
* - A coliseum where combatants battle one-on-one for prizes
* - A fully functional casino including slot machines and poker
* - All original graphics (done entirely within the OHR, with the exception of the title screen done with a text box in mspaint)
* - All original music (except for the town theme, which is an ear rendition of "A Whiter Shade of Pale", by Procol Harum)

**Tested on nightly WIP versions of game; use included game.exe**

"As I've stated numerous times already, this game had very little that was really good and very little that was really bad. This game is a great example of "everything in moderation.""
