Review # 5 for Seth
Them's Fightin' Words
Awegra-The Secret of the Portal is a nicely detailed 'test' game.
Graphics
The graphics are superbly detailed. The grass tile looks like real grass, and the inside of houses look rather cozy. A few nice touches, like flowers that get trampled, and random blinking of characters are well done.
Storyline
Awegra has no story as of yet, but the title is going somewhere.
Gameplay
Nothing much, just a few NPCs who say "I am a test" and join the player's party.
  Battle
    Not implemented.
  Map Design
A small map, and the inside of a few houses.
  Balance
    None. There are no battles.
Music
    Ripped. Well placed, though.
Enjoyment
The most enjoyable thing about Awegra is the scripts. The blinking and trampling are very nice touches.
Final Blows
Awegra is a very innovative game. A storyline, a few battles and some items would've made it better.

Final Scores
Graphics: 8/10.0
Crisp and polished. Nice walkabouts, and some very welcoming houses.
Storyline: 1/10.0
Awegra is without a storyline as of yet.
Gameplay: 2/10.0
Walk around and talk to NPCs who join the player's party. That's it.
Music: 1/10.0
Ripped.
Enjoyment: 5/10.0
Enjoyable only because of the scripts.
Overall Grade: D
Final Thoughts
Awegra is a game for a beggining scripter to see how plotscripting can be used well. Other than that, the lack of playability is a letdown.

A 'D' for encouragement. This could be a good game.
