Chaos Nyte
Review # 12 for Chaos Nyte
Them's Fightin' Words
Ryo, the tv watching, direction losing, dragon killing warrior is on is way to save his father and his hometown. To bad his adventure doesn't last longer then ten minutes...

Storyline: Ryo gets letter from father, Ryo forgets how to get his hometown, Ryo goes on ten minute, wacky adventure. Wee. Lax spelling and poorly worded text boxes. But hey, just because the main stories a little sparse doesn't mean you can't have fun! Fight dragons in a arena type setting! Chase pigs at a local festival! Get snubbed by people at the Toga Shrine!...Okay, so maybe it isn't that much fun after all.

Graphics: Sam drew up some pretty decent outlines for the characters and enemies. To bad he never filled them in. Welcome to block people world. Still, all of them move pretty smoothly, with the exception of Ryo's hiccup walk. Poor guy.

Gameplay: Well, you can't say that he didn't try. Three mini-games that all funtion poorly, (bad tagging) and towns with plenty to do. But it's all done so half-assed that you can't really get into it. Still, for ten minutes, it'll hold your interest.

Music: Ripped from games and anime, with the author admits. Placed well.

Final Thoughts
Holding off the release of this game for some tweaking would of really gone a long way.
