Hobo General
Review # 32 for Hobo General
Them's Fightin' Words
First off, if you are expecting a game look elsewhere. This "adventure" is no more than a five minute stroll. Apparently you are a kid and you must kill an evil peanut.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is the plot. From learning about this from your mother, you head into town. There are maybe 8 people in town to talk to. Most sell something.

After leaving town, you come to an island of some sort. There you can walk around fighting enemies and selling peanuts you collect. Then you can beat the boss. You could have bought armor and weapons in town, but you don't need them.
Final Scores
Graphics: 5/10.0
At first they seem okay, but everything appears shiny. Also, some maptiles overlap and cover people in half grass and half roof. Peanuts look okay. Title screen is pretty simple.
Storyline: 1/10.0
What? Oh, I guess being told to kill an evil peanut is worth something.
Gameplay: 2/10.0
Battles are long and tedious. The peanuts do more damage to themselves than you do to them. Overall, you will end up running from the couple battles up to the boss.
Music: 5/10.0
Straight from the engine. It fit okay, though.
Overall Grade: F-
Final Thoughts
At the end of the game, you learn it was made in four days. I don't think this was really a game, but a test of the OHRRPGCE. It's short, but not sweet. I found it a chore to play. Do not download unless you have played every other OHR game at least 3 times, or are an extremely large peanut fanatic.
