Them's Fightin'

By now we all know PHC has a unique sense of humor. In which things we may consider odd, amuse him to the highest degree. In Zoiberg! A Musical, you see none other than the crab/squid/crazy amatuear doctor at his best. Being himself and immitating others.

As ChaosNyte said in his review, the backdrops are scanned in unusually well. There is no loss of colors in the backdrops, or if there is, it is barely notable. The single walkabout set has a great amount of detail put into it. Dispite the fact that it is the only sprite, it only needed that one. Among the backdrops, you'll see Professor Zoidberg in plenty of disguises, and a few odd things. Such as the screenshot in the upper left hand corner. Overall, the graphics were perfect for this game.

Storyline |

There really isn't a story, you just find out which picture is Zoidberg.

The funny thing about this game is, based on what I can tell of the content. It is not entirely an adult/teenager's game. With such blatant and obvious pictures to choose from, it could definitely be a child's game. Which is great, because dispite the fact that it may appeal to Futurama fans which consist of a larger age group, the younger players could learn things from it. Granted there isn't much to learn. However, if PHC used his talents to make children's games and made the message more obvious he could have something really good to be done.

I don't know if it's part of the joke. But there is none.

Enjoyment |
|
|
I enjoyed it, simply because of the obvious humor. And the fact that there were some pretty funny pictures in it. The duck telling the dog a secret was my personal favorite one that made me laugh.

Final Blows |

Dispite the fact that this game is not an actual RPG like the previous Futurama fan game, it was much better. In the respect that the game could possibly breed more games made for a child audience.

Final Scores

Graphics: 10/10.0 |
The only bad thing about this is there wasn't any picture of Zoidberg with the pogo-stick. Other than that, they were great.

If you innovated this into an actual game you could make something great. Like perphaps a Trivia type game or what not. However, the lack of no right or wrong answers in the choices makes the score drop.

No music in the game. |

A great 2 minutes. Unlike some short games I have played, this one is quite amusing. |

Final Thoughts |

It isn't Walthros, which is PHC's best area, however it is a pleasant game to play that isn't as serious as the other ones out there. |
