I am looking for people that would join me and make a group that would help each other out in making their games. If you had an idea for a game that you would like to make then the group would use there talents to help you and when someone else had an idea for a game you could use your talents to help them out. If you would like to join then reply to this message with your name, e-mail and what you are talented at. ^_^ _________________ Email Me At: KloudStrife7@hotmail.com |

it would seriously help if you had a demo of your own that would show off what you can do. that would be a much better incentive, and most ohr users will not reach out and help virtual enigmas. _________________ LJ.Art

This entire board is supposedly a group about making games and helping those who do. There is no reason for such a usergroup, but if you are setting out to start a development team, then what Komera said. _________________

Yes i am setting out to make a development team and I would make a demo of what i can do but it wouldn't be possible because i am only really good at plotscripting and coming up with stories. _________________ Email Me At: KloudStrife7@hotmail.com |

Then that should tell you right there that you should make a demo that shows that you're good at plotscripting and stories but not so hot at everything else. The fact that you might be bad at oh, say, graphics (I'm going to use that example throughout this post) doesn't inhibit your ability to create a demo that shows off your skills in the areas that you are proficient in. Once you've shown us via a demo that your plotscripting and story abilities are "good" (your words, not mine), then perhaps someone might see "Hey, that guy's pretty good at story and plotscripting, but not good at graphics, and I'm good at graphics and not that good with story, so maybe I'll join his group". That's the best way to find someone who would be willing to work with you, and that is the advice I give you as a fellow designer who is good at stories and plotscripting (and gameplay) but very, very bad at graphics. _________________

Aeth - the only bad thing about those graphics is the horrible, horrible grid. )
Kloud - Then post up your story on the story board, or yor script somewhere. Let us know what you are capable of, and you'll be bound to nab someone. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

30 minutes makes it difficult to show any skill with story. _________________ Locked

Yeah, heck my first three games barely hit the 30 minutes line and that's not much to say but everyone has to start somewhere. And besides, everything you do now Kloud, will lead up to making something better. For instance wayyyyyyyyyyy back when I made Mr.Triangle 1 the graphics were very lame and the game was made in a day. Then when I look at my current games like Captain Sloth RPG and Halloween Quest, I realize just how big of a step that is. So keep trying dude. And if there's anyway I can be of assistance don't hesitate to ask. Anyways, even if you think it's crap keep going, focus on all elements and don't worry about being a perfectionist. _________________ ---------------Projects----
