I run Windows XP Professional on my system, but it won't run the OHR. I used to have Windows ME, and this was fine, but the error message that displays when Ity to run GAME or CUSTOM is:
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft WIndows applications."
So does anybody know how to solve this, or a program I could use to run MS-DOS programs in XP? I would not plan on downgrading my system back to ME as I need XP for many reasons.
Thank you. |

I don't know if this will help, but:
1) Right click game.exe/custom.exe
2) Click Properties
3) Click Compatability
4) Select Windows 98 or 95
5) Try it again
This has happened to me with other dos programs, and that solution helped. Don't know if it will work for the OHRRPGCE. |
