A: I'd say JSH. It was a toss-up between him and PHC (I've actually switched back and forth between them a few time while writing this post). PHC has made more games and stuff, but OHR House just blows them all away, I think. Maybe I should pick someone who does great serious traditional RPGs, but I haven't played too many of those on the OHR that've been very good.
B: Just to be weird, I'll say Ryan Simonetta. _________________ Locked

Back when CP was on the drawing board, I interviewed James so that the site could have some actual content. The review is old and mostly useless now, but it's around if anyone really wants to read it. _________________

The only bit of Shadowiii's work I've seen was the first release of Stop. (You know, the one that took place entirely in a dark room which may have been the end of time, and was comprised of basically 10-15 minutes of philisophical text boxes.) Which of Shadowiii's games is what makes him everyones number one pick? I'd really like to try them out =) |

It's the fact that all his games are a good variety. A popular dating simulation, then a nifty puzzle game, RPG, and then a shooter. They aren't all the best, but they're something many authors can't do, and that's make a variety. _________________ ---------------Projects----

A - Mattgamerr, Lolsidothaldremobine. Gilbert, I Made Dis. Moogle1, Sheep Rancher. Friend, Bastogne: City of Dreams (i really liked what i've played of it so far; if it stays good to the end, it'll go on my favorites list).
B - I'd like to see an interview with James Paige, Moogle1, or Harlock Hero (back on Septa and the old BS:OHR, he was always in the interviewer's seat; i'd like to see that role switched) |

Eggie interviews a great idea, as is Gilbert interviewing himself. So, how about Gilbert interviews himself, with running commentary from Eggie? |

There isn't a single OHRer that's leaps and bounds ahead of the others, so I won't even bother with the engine's "greatest author"...
What I would like to see, though, is an interview with James Paige, Friend or PHC.

1) Minnek - PLI.
2) Minnek!
... Just kidding. In actuality, I'd have to say a "greatest" would be impossible, where as a group of "greats" would be more feasible. Hence, anyone whom is talented at what they do (Friend, Misteroo, Shadow, etc at pixelating/art; myself, ohyesvoteforyourselfwhydontcha TMC, Worthy, Cube, Hawk, Ysoft, Moogle1, etc. (sorry if I left anyone out... long list, however. ) for plotscripting, et so on et so on. Too tired to list out everything, but writing, dialogue, storylines, music, etc are also included in the "greats" group.)
As for the secondary vote, I'd have to say I'd like to see someone of prestige interviewed - Friend, Fenrir, Misteroo, Moogle1, Cube, Minnek, etc. - since I find reading serious stuff more entertaining than what is made with intent of being a joke. (Though, laughs are nice once in a while.)
I need to stop writing posts when I'm only half awake and not in a good mood. _________________ * SDHawk has joined #Minnek

I didn't bother voting for best game author, but if I did, Friend would come to mind as a someone to consider.
Jame Paige would have been my second choice for interview, but I was pretty sure it had been done before. Just couldn't remember where.
(Just asking, where is it? : P)

Okay, the plan is set into motion, I'm officially going to interview myself while Eggie sits in the room and comments (If Eggie is willing). Excellent idea! I'll go PM him right now. _________________ BANDIT REVOLVER, DOWNLOAD IT OR ELSE.

Though I can't honestly say who I think is the greatest, I would definitely say that Orchard-L would be my favorite OHR author. I've composed for two of his projects (working on the third), and I have to say that he puts a lot of work and thought into the games he makes. He's also the only one who isn't frustrating to compose for, `cause he gives me everything I need to work with and doesn't just use the "write me music that sounds like what you did with Purgatory" line that echoes so elequently in my ears.
As far as who I'd like to see interviewed, I think it should be someone who you would least suspect, like Uncommon or Minnek or someone like that. _________________
