Yes, Leon. That is all covered in the story thread.

Culex: You should show us some samples of your work, like Calehay and I both said before in the story thread. Your chances of getting a collaborator will go through the roof, if you know what I mean. Until then, I can only wish you luck.
And the reason that we say this here is that we are so used to small groups and even companies falling through due to any number of reasons.
Show us your stuff. Screen shots, music clips (doesn't matter how bad. In fact, if they are bad we will feel more inclined to help), and that's basically all you need to do from where you are actually. No guarentees of course.
~Heed those words of advice. We all learn eventualy, but the sooner the better.

Oh, and you could probably hold a conference to get samples of any composer's work in this board (the BAMtastic board) after you show us what your 'company' will be like.

Endless Cetus Saga I

In the time when Oceans still existed on the planet Tartarus, a war erupted that encompassed the entire world. The war was between mankind and the God Origin. The God Origin created the Angels, his most destructive army to fight against mankind. After years of war, mankind was victorious. Mankind confined Origin and his Angels by using the power of 8 Elemental Essences. The war shattered the lands into pieces and floated high up in the sky. The planet was badly damaged that the oceans started to dry up, and that a deadly vortex appeared and consumed Tartarus until it was lost. Eventually, Tartarus was known as Lost Jerusalem.

In an era where lands float in the sky and the existence of Oceans has been regarded as a mere legend. The Nortis Empire is sweeping across the shattered lands in an attempt to capture all 8 Elemental Essences to revive Origin and his Angels, so that they can lead the shattered lands into a rebirth. The other, God-Hand, a terrorist organization want the power of the 8 Elemental Essences to obtain the power of the Angels and enslave every being on the shattered lands.

Are you asking for people to join you in a collaborative effort to create this game? Who all are you asking for? And then, it would probably be a bit more effective if you instead had a more complete product to show to see if people want to help you.

Since I'm guessing all you have is the story, I would suggest doing this.

1. Create an entire synopsis of your story or a portion of the script in Annoucements, having a title that says, "PIXELSOFT applicants wanted," or something to that effect. Inside, have a clear, very well written synopsis of your game Endless Cetus (or is it Cetus Endless?) Post your script as an attachment. The reason you have to put your script up is because people probably won't want to help just from a synopsis. At least a piece of the script will do.
2. Place your preferred method of communication so that people can send their applications. Also, state what info you want on the applications. (Doesn't have to be much, just a name and maybe a few games or something for examples of the work they can produce is plenty.)
3. Don't be discouraged if people don't warm to it at first. It may take another piece of the script (choose the part you like the best, others will probably like it too.) or even a rewrite if nescessary. Make sure your script is clear and complete devoid of grammatical errors (Unless it's used for effect, of course.)
Grammar and spelling are of upmost importance in this post. In all of your other post you have been a bit uncaring in that category. To show the effect, see which one is more effective.

What not to do:
hey i have this really cool game called endless cetus and i really want some people to help in making it i know that it will be good but i need some help heres some script you can read and post if you wanna join my company pixelsoft.

I'm exaggerating a small bit, but some people would actually do that.

The more proper way:
I am in the process of creating a game called Endless Cetus. It is about ...(insert a well writen synopsis here)
The reason I am posting is because I would like to gather team members to help me create this game. I have included a selection from the script to ... (you know the rest. Then give a reaching method, which can be email, AIM, PM, or even just to post after the synopsis.)

Who knows, if you just wow people with the script, you might get some of the top people to join with you. (Just don't get your hopes too high. A lot of people are busy with the workload of making their own game and really don't want to take on the work of another. That's why you need to have your things in top form before you post it.)

Good luck! Who knows, I might even end up applying as a composer!

The way I went about it, was make friends in the IRC channel and offer a synopsis to those I liked\people who had skills I needed.

It's my conviction that those you work with should be your friends first and foremost. Simply makes for a better-running company.

Try making a project site, set up a small forum, and do as much work as you can yourself. And don't expect your first game to be the ultimate game and be an instant hit. It won't be, unless you're very experienced and you make a Half Life.
