Alright! I'm currently creating my very first game, and I have thought up the first part of the story. I would be very thankful to any sugestions any ofyou can give!
Field of Fate
Pyro is a fire spirit(a red diamond with legs >_>) who is a random townsperson. He is more or less a loner. He lives on an island in the Southeast corner of the map, while the village is in the Northeast. The other townspeople accept him, but he tends to enoy his own company. You begin the game by talking to a guard outside the castle(he explains that the castle is now blocked off because the townspeople were suspected of planning an attack on the king), and then he orders the guards that block you way to the rest of the map to move(the castle is still blocked off). You then go find the village. There are four houses, one of which is blocked off. You can talk to people around the village and get a few items, and one guy causes the guy blocking the fourth house to move out of the way. That guy tells you that the house leads to a secret entrance to the castle. You agree to find out what the king is hiding for some gil.
You enter the now-opened house, and go in a hole that lets you out in a blocked-off part of the map behind the castle. You go through the castle's side door. Now you move to the top of the castle(you find some items and fight some guards). You finally find the top floor, where you fight two stronger guards. Then you go up to the door and hear the king say that there is a vast treasure beneath the vast field between the castle and the village. He also says that there are several keys needed to unlock the treasure, and that two have been found. He reveals the location of the next key, and then you are teleported to the house of the guy that said he would pay you.
Alright, that's what I have so far. I havn't decided what's under the field, but I think the keys will be somthing like Fire/Thunder/Ice/Water/Wind/Shadow/Light or something obvious like that.
The only party members I've decided on are a thunder spirit that looks like you(only yellow), an earth rock-type thing that fights with blunts, and a wind-based thing that fights with swords.
All help is heavily appreciated and ideas that I use will be credited in the game(a cameo if you want it).
Thanks in advance!

this sounds alot more like a walkthrough. dont tell us every little thing that we will be doing in the game, tell us the story. explain the world that the people live in, the main character, and a few other little details. _________________

I would suggest that instead of coming up with your game point by point, work on the story's main points, and flesh them out a bit. Backstory and direction are very important to stories, and if you just go la-de-da onto a conclusion, you're probably not going to get a good result. _________________ Calehay |
