What can I say. I like your style, Setu. You take what was old and make it new again. Very good work. It seems like you put a lot of heart into this one. At least that's the feeling it gives me. Something feels off though. Maybe the percussion is rushing or something. Maybe my ears aren't syncronized. Whatever. This is high quality. It would make a bitchin' overworld theme as well as a character theme. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

How many of you remember the It Ate Desmond pieces that sucked horribly mostly due to the fact that my timing went off 5 million times throughout each song?
Well, guess what? Hopefully this month, I'll be getting a studio mic, so I can make my own album with vocals, and the first one I'm doing is going to be an It Ate Desmond album. Only I'm not doing the album that I have on the gamelist; I'm actually going to make a new one.
And for starters, here's what the first track sounds like (w/o vocals right now):

I know I am probably reviving a dead thread here, but I just listened to Know Better and had to mention those cymbals. They kind of take over, like you can't hear anything except them when they play. I liked the bass line though, and I'm sure it'll sound better with vocals. Just, tone down the cymbals or something. _________________ The Daleks are coming!! Woooo! |

Alrighty. Firstly, yes this is a dead and rotting thread.
However, Know Better was one of the first projects I did with Nuendo while I was still getting my feet wet. Although I can't change that song now (`cause I trashed the saved project with all the files), I did learn from that mistake and did better from there on. _________________

This would totally rule as an antagonist's theme. It wouldn't be bad for a protagonist either (depending on the quality of their character, of course.)
I like how the melody is different than your other songs for a change. I also think the panning is a nice touch. Strange sound effects at the end, though. I won't ask... >.> ........................ *Boop* _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Yeah. Actually, this guy in the RPG Toolkit community commissioned me to score his fighting game that has to make for a class project (he goes to Full Sail and he's majoring in game programming). I wrote this piece as a song to put on the character selection screen....at least that was my original intent. _________________
