Yes, get ready. I was walking across my local best buy and I was disgusted by the long row of tycoon games. How repetitive. So behold.
Soon you can run your own Toothpick Tycoon. I was going for doorknobs, but those take too long to draw. I didn't even feel like drawing the toothpick. I just got a flag and took out the flag and what was left was the flagpole, aka Toothpick.
Don't dismiss this game. It is a clever parody with gameplay never seen before from an OHR game. Graphics never even heard of. I've have implemented the many techniques I have learned over the past few years I have been absent. I have even succesfully added a particle system.
And this would be for the bird shit particles that come down to attack your toothpick stand. So beware, young entrepreneurs.
So stay tuned fellow OHRers. You will soon be able to sell your beloved toothpicks. |

Awwww... Now I have to HATE it...
In all seriousness; this has potential to be pretty hillarious. I hope you can remain inspired to finish it. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

That's a lot of talk. A lot of talk is a lot of potential pretension.
Don't give us talk, give us substance. Before you practice bragging rights, show us this supposedly innovative game. |

Ah, dang it. You just stole the thunder from my ideas for Parking Lot Tycoon and Forest Fire Tycoon. Geez. Why must great minds think alike? _________________ Progress Report:

That doesn't look like OHR to me. Resolution is way too high, so either you're lying or you're going to be in for a surprise when you import it. |

Ok, don't worry, it's just me, Longebane. I'm back.
I've finally finished the gamemaker version of Toothpick Tycoon. I am off to work for the OHR port, cause you guys are so awesome, and you disserve to play it too..
For people with higher-end systems, hopefully your system can play the windows version, found here:
http://www.rpgsource.net/longebane/game.html
If your system can support the windows version, you can compare it with the OHR version when it comes out. Isn't that neat. |
