Actually, that remix is pretty neat, Camdog. I can see how maybe it can't be used (because of the techno style), but it's catchy.

How exactly are you programming this? If you're going to use an MP3, it's easy enough to add reverb to the actual music file.

And I could try another version. The demo one is techno-y mainly because that's really easy to do.

You should specify with remix, what type of remix?

Everyone instantly assumes techno/backbeat, but did you mean to flesh out to more orchestral pieces?

Well, I mentioned Metroid Zero Mission, in terms of what I'm trying to accomplish. I guess I'll elaborate:

Most Zelda music is Orchestral. Since I want my game to be almost like an official game, it should fit in. Ergo, Orchestral remixes. Or, arrangements would be closer.

An example of what I would want:

Original (like)
Arranged

In fact, unless I hear otherwise (pun!), I'll probably email that guy for permission to use it.

Certain songs I can picture to be Rock, such as the final final boss, but that's up to the composer.

I'm using Game Maker, heavily extended with various things, including my sound system. I can play music in various tracker formats (MIDI, MOD, S3M, IT, etc), or various audio formats (MP3, OGG, WAV (bad!), etc)

I would prefer the tracker songs, since they're smaller, and can be looped easily (yes, even the Midis)

Hey. Thanx for your comments in the BAM forum. You can have the Repent or Blazer song for your game, if you like. Do what u want with it, it would be great to have a song i made in a game.
