I never had a problem making money in the game, but then again I am also the one that made it and know exactly what to do in any situation.
However, I have not ran through it since I "officially" released it. I'll see about going through it another time and seeing if something needs to be changed. _________________ MOCBJ Software - My Games

I mean the difference now is that the timer doesn't go down when you leave the mine. So even if you revisit it days later it'll still be at whatever you left it and have to wait. Another problem is that there's a bug that the ores don't really get reset but the timer gets reset when you leave the mine. I'll send you a PM about it too. _________________ Snippy:

I finally finished this game now with 12 hours playing time (of which 8 hours are grinding). The game is pretty good, the story is good. I didn't like the ending too much, though because it doesn't really give me enough satisfaction and is just too fast and sudden. I didn't even understand why a certain person doesn't have any legs and still can slash me. Music is good too, the original songs are really good. Graphics are acceptable. Gameplay isn't so good. The difficulty is okay but there's quite some imbalance. The much stronger enemies hardly give any more exp than the weaker ones and for most battles the smartest solution is to just run away. The worst part of the game is the 'grind'. This last dungeon was really hard and you couldn't run from most battles so I assume you are supposed to grind as much as I did. Grinding here doesn't even mean killing monsters, it's usually just going to the mine again and again and get more money / ores. This takes longer than an hour in each town and is extremely boring. I'd go so far and say this game has the worst grind I've ever had (if you combine the length of it and the fact that it's boring). Overall the game is really good, just the grind kills it. But at least you can say that the game was good enough that I endured all the grind to finish it.
My rating would be:
Story 8/10 (very good and melancholic, but still needs more emotional feeling to be perfect)
Graphics 5/10 (average in my opinion, better than in most OHRRPGCE games, though, bonus for the variety of maptiles, penalty for lack of dimensionality sometimes)
Music 7/10 (the music is good, it also has some original tracks which sound really good so I give it an above average score)
Gameplay 3/10 (below average because of the imbalance, grind, boringness, lack of variety and inconsistency in the wallmapping, the points are mainly for the game ideas that are good but just didn't work out too well and would need some more work to be actual fun for a gamer and that the difficulty is okay apart from the grind)
If this was an allowed review I'd rate it with C+ which means a bit better than an average OHRRPGCE game for me.
Hint for the developer: Work on your gameplay. You have many good ideas, you now learned how to implement those ideas into the OHRRPGCE, now you just need to learn how to make them enjoyable for the player. Also try to find more consistency in the graphics / wallmapping. If I can walk behind a certain maptiles it should always be possible and not only for some places for example. Make more use of layers in general. Also maybe it's your style, but I personally think it's not good to just cut off maps with no wall and then just not put any door there.
You seem to have quite some talant with story and music, try to improve your skills even further in those categories. _________________ Snippy:
