|

I'd like it to look like NPCs and the main character are walking through a field of waste-high grass. Is there a way to temporarily hide the bottom half of a sprite when they walk over a certain tile? Thanks! _________________ ---

You could use the layers feature to create a covering of grass and then place it over all the other tiles. |

Problem is, it's going to go overhead when you walk up/down. The only way to do this is by changing the sprite via plotscripting. _________________

Yea, I figured as much. Oh well. I nixed the grass anyway, it never really fit with my game. Also, I'm trying to use very simple, but nice looking graphics. Reminiscent of games like Maze of Galius. If you showed someone a screenshot, they would probably guess the game was made in 1981.
Also, it's not an RPG. I don't know what Im talking about it in the random-ass topic, considering I haven't even announced anything. I'm sure you guys have put some of the pieces together though from my various topics :) _________________ ---

Well at least you could still use that 'feature' on paths that are only left / right. :-) _________________ Snippy:
