Ok, for some strange reason, my right shift button does absolutely nothing in the OHRRPGCE. My ] functions as the [ normally does and my \ functions as the \ normally does. And my + and = make a Q and q respectively. Uh, what? Help needed por favor. Anyone ever had a problem like this? _________________ My name is...

The font shouldn't affect the right-shift as opposed to the left shift, should it? What's the operating system? Is there some kind of windows-emulator going on? Do the buttons work incorrectly ANYWHERE else? How about in game.exe? Not sure how to check. Maybe a script to input a string? _________________ My first completed OHR game, Tales of the New World:

Nope, I'm running Vista with nothing out of the ordinary. The keys work fine in every other program. It's pretty confusing. _________________ My name is...

I'm guessing you are using an international keyboard, or an international version of Windows, or an international keyboard mapping on a us keyboard and us windows.
If I'm wrong about that though, let me know :) |

No, no, and I don't know but I doubt it. I am using a laptop though. That could be significant since it doesn't have all the usual keys (like the numpad) without using the function button. _________________ My name is...

The SDL graphics backend (see http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/nightly/) would probably fix your problem because it reads keyboard input in a different, probably more robust way. However it may or may not work for you (at the moment it is completely broken for me). We'll probably want to switch to SDL as the default in the future. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

gfx_sdl is broken for you? How? It works for me right now on both Windows and Linux (I know the page flipping code is wrong, but it still works) |
