I noticed that there's a few Let's Play videos of OHR games on youtube. There's not enough of them!

Here's what's up.

1. You post here, telling me what games you'd like to see played.
2. (Optional) Post conditions. If you don't know what I mean, see Oyster's LP Of Megaman 3 and Wiley Wars ( http://fromearth.net/LetsPlay/Mega%20Man%203/ ). If they're unreasonable, they won't be accepted.
3. I play it, you watch it.

Note that you can suggest any game, no matter how terrible it is -- provided it's not something that'll get me banned from youtube.

First up, I'm doing a Let's Play of the first game I've ever made, Bahamut Breath. I'll continue doing LP's of my own games until there's suggestions for other games.

Feel free to post your LP's as well. If we get enough of them, maybe we can convince Minion to open a LP forum.

Once again, feel free to make your own LP's and post/advertise them here (or elsewhere, who the hell am I to judge). I just thought it'd be nice to keep a list of these somewhere.

Hahahaha, a quick note to anyone interested in getting into making LP's. If you're hosting on youtube, make sure that your videos do not exceed 10 minutes in length. I forgot about it and I had the Bahamut Breath Let's Play turned down due to terms of use violation. ;P

I should continue making Sword of Jade videos.

I've been enjoying the Wandering Hamster videos. I need to rewatch the rest of the Bahamut series because I fell asleep. Even if the game isn't great by most people's standards, I still found the commentary interesting to listen to.

Don't just watch - make!

It'd be neat to make a Let's Play! for Bloodlust when it's complete, but I'm a little intimidated about starting it up. I have CamStudio because I can't seem to get FRAPS to work. Do I just record the video, then comment, or do I comment as I go along on a separate file, or into a mic, or what? It seems like a neato idea though to do more of these.

Also, someone should create an OHR account on Youtube, and like, link all OHR related videos and such onto this account, and we can all subscribe to it and stuff. It'll help us get a little more presence and exposure.

Hell, Orchard L's games could make some great Let's Play! videos.

I'd make them, but I can't get Fraps to work either (Vista). And I am good at making stuff work with Vista! But this is just not working.

I can try using Camstudio, but I've never tried it. Maybe that one will work, though! So let's see... Maybe I can record something, after all. :3

I would suggest Camstudio then, it's also a freeware program and it's fairly easy to use, and it's not limited to just recording games.

Edit: And I couldn't get Fraps to work on XP, so that being the case, you can probably get Camstudio to work. :p

Fraps only works when you are playing a game in Full-Screen mode.

Unfortunately, the frame rate counter and such do not appear, leaving you no indication as to whether it is recording or not.

Fraps doesn't work with the OHR at all, at least to my knowledge.
I only know because Hawk told me, and everything Hawk tells me is the truth.

Not true! I recorded everything in FRAPS last night.

If anyone needs help setting it up, let me know. I can't say much for the demo version. Mines pirated. :\

I've used Fraps before, for FFXI.

The problem here lies in that I can't run the program. There are compatibility issues, error messages, etc. I'll try again later, but so far, I've not succeeded.

I don't worry much about it for now. Happy
