Thank you for being such a dedicated listener in Bamtastic tonight. Awesome.

Atmosphere. That's what I want to be most tangible in Otera Hokori. The level is going to be 'scarey as dog shit. The first note is supposed to sound like a the first foot step in the Temple for hundreds of years. Imagine: Dust flies up in billowing clouds as you walk slowly through the ever living empty premisis. Cries of horror penetrate the solid stone from the far off unknown, right from under your feet. All sorts of shambling, undead that aren't even human creeping around in the dust and darkness, and an ancient civilization waits hungrily, nestled, resting in the thick depths of the Temple catacombs. It's a lot of trouble, and a pain in the ass, but totally worth it, man.

You could also try weird rythming, like stops, or places where it slows and quickens, perhaps even a weird staccato at certain parts, and perhaps even a couple drawn out sharp\flat notes at strategic places to screw with the player's head. Have fun with it : )

Basically, you don't want any structure for the player to fall back on, unless you're going to take it away unexpectedly. You do this already, but I think it could be punctuated more, now that I listen to it again.
