Awesome story, all. I think it went quite well. Sure, it may have gone places you didn't foresee, but that's the fun of it. Now comes the fun part.

What did you think of the idea? What did you think the story was about? Give us a plot line! Be as vague or specific as you want, but try and keep them relatively short.

Also, to avoid possibly swaying your opinion on how the story went, I suggest you type your plot first, THEN read everyone else's. That way, it'll be fun to see how similar our stories are without collaborating verbally. But do what you will. Happy

Here's mine.

____________________________________________________

Once there was a samurai. This samurai was in love. The woman worthy of his love was Mary Poppins. (Who else?) Some would say "But what about stylish Schwarzenneger?" No, damnit! (Giz's pic) For those with enough money, Mary Poppins is the one true love to go for!

Mary poppins had her own dark history, though. She had a fling with Dick Van Dyke way back when... and they were both happy, only Mary Poppins felt tied down (The tree pic Big grin)

Because of this, she was now a binge drinker, much to the samurai's chagrin. She was reckless and wild until finally one day, she was in a fatal car accident! Poor Dick Van Dyke! poor Samurai!!

After the recent death of Mary Poppins, Dick Van Dyke became addicted to pot, giving him bizarre cravings for cookies (The munchies, yo)

But one fateful night... Angela Lansbury simply would not have it, so conjuring her great powers from Bedknobs and Broomsticks, she rose Mary Poppins from the dead... only something was amiss.

Angela couldn't stop her spell! Suddenly, all manner of zombie was rising from the grave! The people set up barricades in efforts to stop the zombie hordes and destroy them, but Dick Van Dyke, still holding a small love for Mary Poppins, and knowing how her present lover would feel without her, he did research, and came up with a plan. he found that if a zombie was shown a sign of true love, it would be able to return to it's full self again!

But what else is this?? Mary Tyler Moore! YOU'RE the head of the zombie revolution?? Dick Van Dyke felt powerless, and secluded into the dreams of his past relationship with his true love. These dreams soon turned to his past relationship with Mary Tyler moore. "How could she have become so evil?" he thought. Dick Van Dyke collapsed crying, a lump of wasted human flesh on the floor.

Meanwhile, the samurai sacked up and took some action. Having a vengeance ready to kill all undead, and save his beloved, he began his war on the hordes.

He summoned the BIGGEST MOTHER FUCKIN' HADOKEN POSSIBLE and took out the bulk of the horde. Then he ran in, and cracked some skulls. The smaurai dispensed of the majority of the zombies, and Mary Poppins, somewhere... felt his love for her... and she broke free from her zombie spell.

The other zombies sensed this, and turned on her. WHO SHOULD SHOW UP JUST IN TIME TO SAVE HER, but Elvis presley! Wait, isn't he a zombie now?? Mary thought... I could've sworn I saw him in the same cemetary as me...

Of course not! Elvis is still fully alive! The zombie she saw was simply an Elvis Impersonator! Elvis guns down the zombies around Mary Poppins, and all is well...

But the samurai... in his blind fit of zombie destruction... makes the same mortal mistake that Mary made... and slays Elvis. Elvis drops to his knees and screams "FREEDOM!!"...

And as this, he is always remembered as a great warrior in the zombie uprising. The samurai hid himself in shame for killing an innocent, and reclused for the rest of his life, and Mary eventually passed on... but will always be remembered in the heart of that one loving samurai, who saved her from the abysmal fate of a mindless ghoul.

The end...

.... or is it?

I think it happened something like this:

The Samurai loved Mary Poppins. But alas, her Pimp, Arnold Schwarzenegger required money. The Samurai had none. That shyster Dick Van Dyke came in, and purchased the love of Samurai's life for a one night fling. But alas, Mary's dreams of a future with Dick were fleeting. He had a wife, the lovely Mary Tyler Moore. Dejected, bankrupt, and unable to show her face around the Brothel ever again, she took up a job as a peanut vendor at the local races. As luck would have it, Dick and MTM came to the races one fateful day. MTM went to get her beloved some beer and peanuts, but while waiting in line, one of the cars had a terrible wreck, and flew into the stands, killing Dick's wife of about 10 years.

Saddened by the loss of his woman, Dick aged rapidly, taking comfort from marijuana and cookies. Little did he know, that in a dark shack some miles away, Angela Lansbury was involved with an experiment that would reunite him with his loved one.

THE DEAD WALK!

Various animated bodies reach Dick, in his new life as head researcher at a top secret medical facility. He opens the yellow metal coffin, only to find his wife, Mary Tyler Moore, freshly animated with vengeance and black magic, ready to attack him, and his loyal secretary MARY POPPINS! Sensing his love is in danger, Samurai rushes to their aid. As Samurai strikes down MTM, Dick thinks lovingly back to how they could've grown old together. The dream is shattered as he sees MTM's tattered body hit the ground, and feels the tug of Mary Poppins on his arm. They ride off together on mutated turtles, leaving The Samurai alone. Saddened, he activates the Self Destruct sequence and waits to die.

However, he notices a warning light activate: Several zombies have escaped the facility! He rushes out the emergency exit just in time. Most of the zombies are incinerated, and Mary Poppins watches in horror, figuring her hero and savior Samurai to be lost forever. She consoles herself with Dick.

Outside, in a small town, the Sherriff Elvis saves a poor woman from the zombie onslaught. The Samurai approaches, and kills Elvis: But is it the real Elvis, or the Zombie Elvis?! The mind boggles! Samurai wanders the earth alone, seeing his beloved Poppins everywhere he goes. Poppins and Dick get married, and Dick takes great comfort in Poppin's immutable warmth and inner strength.

But is it truely the end? Only time.... will tell.

Come on, guys. There's gotta be more poeple talking about this.

If you don't want to post your story idea, at least post what you thought of this overall. Should we do this again? If so, what would you do differently if anything?

Been meaning to write my summary.

Mary Poppins used to live the life of a common whore. A kind samurai took compassion on her and bought her freedom from Arnold the Pimp.

Free to go where she pleased, she was still vulnerable. She did not know what love truly meant.

She quickly fell in love with Dick Van Dyke, who did not in fact love her. She devoted her life to him; he was sleeping with Mary Tyler Moore.

Quickly she gave in to a life of booze and drugs, leading to her early demise in a car crash. This would have been the end of the story if Angela Lansbury had stayed out of the picture. She used her dark magicks to revive the dead corpse of Mary Poppins.

Harrison Ford was the first to catch on to what was happening. Frightened, he knew only one way out: Zombie Elvis, to right the wrongs of foul necromancy.

The details become rather unclear at this point, but we do know that Dick Van Dyke's addiction to his anti-aging drugs spiraled out of control (the man was probably over 200 years old). He tried to hook back up with Poppins, but our friend the samurai interceded.

But despite Dick Van Dyke's betrayal, Poppins still found she loved him and could not let him die. She led him to safety while the samurai fended off the undead legions.

In the end, it was Zombie Elvis who saved them all. Tragically, the samurai did not know the ways of Elvis. After the last of the other zombies had been slain, the samurai returned Elvis to his grave.

He surveyed the scene, only now realizing what he had done. He had slain not only Elvis, the great hero of the West, but also Poppins. He returned to the East, never to be seen again until he atoned for his grave error.

Dick Van Dyke lived happily ever after.

----

This was a lot of fun. Let's do this again, but more coherent next time. Big grin

You forgot the cheesy ending where a zombie appears leaving something that pretends to be a cliffhanger but really isn't!
