NOTE: Your version of OHRRPGCE crashes too. And about CPUs..... Kinda stupid, but I'm not a computer expert. Dunno what CPU. Confused

Oh well.

Assuming you have Windows 2000 or whatever or later, you'll spot a multiprocessor machine by there being more than one graph for "CPU Usage History" on the Performance tab in Task Manager.

It works on Safe Mode.
Research shall begin.

Aha! Now we are getting somewhere.

Something else that runs in normal mode must be interfering. There are a lot of possibilities, but the first one I want to explore is the possibility that you have some kind of virus or spyware on your computer. These malicious programs often close down other programs (usually in an attempt to defeat virus scanners)

(1) Do you have an up-to-date virus scanner?

(2) Have you been seeing any strange behaviour, such as: very slow internet, programs closing randomly (other than game and custom) excessive pop-up advertisements.

Hmmm....
Well, F-Secure told me that there's 8 viruses.
But I doubt viruses are the main problem. Some months ago I tried to make games with OHRRPGCE but still I failed, and I didn't have any viruses, if I remember correctly.

1: F-Secure.
2: Nothing. No slow internet, no random program closing or something like that.

o! you should try disabling all startup programs

to do this:

1. open the RUN program that should be located on your start menu

2. type " MSCONFIG ", and run

3. a window should appear with startup things on it. You'll want to click the tab farthest to the right called startup.

4. Click disable all, or simply go down the list unchecking all the boxes till you get rid of everything that you don't want starting up with your computer. ( which honestly, should be everything )

This is a little known way to get rid of 90% of problems that most computers have.

Actually, some of the things in the "Startup" panel of MSCONFIG may be desireable to keep, but yes, indeed, there is probably something in that list that is causing the problem.

When you boot in safe mode, none of those start-up items get run.

I agree with Spoon Weaver's suggestion to disable all of them and reboot, and see if that solves the problem. But I would go one step further. After that, if it works, then go back to MSCONFIG and enable start up items again one-by-one, rebooting after each one, and test game and custom again each time. It may take a while if you have a lot of start up items, but you will be able to pin-point exactly which one is causing the problem.

(Also, just in case disabling something there stops your computer from booting, remember you can always boot in Safe Mode if you need to get into MSCONFIG and turn things back on)

If you have further questions about MSCONFIG or Start Up programs, please ask.
