Ok. Are the 5 sentences between the 2 game makers piled up,so that by the end of it there's 200 sentences, or are they deleted? _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Oh... that's a good question.
Adding them to the readme makes sense to me.
That way what is said between each designer can be seen for sick
voyeuristic pleasure neat-o-ness.

I dont think we should worry about the story being inconsistant, folks...
It will be like what we do in story time, where one person sets up the story for the next person, I guess. I suggest practicing. There are a few good and entertaining ones there you can add on to for practice. (storythread is the best LOL) I am saying this because I think it would help you understand what I am trying to say here... STORY TIME! YAY!!!
I am working up some original ideas (I think) As we speek.. :flamedevil:
Most of our best work should come out when we see what all the last person did. Did this help any??? _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Arrr, matey. This reminds me of that Magnus contest thingy... anyways, I'd like to request not going first nor last, if that's possible...if not, then at least I can't go first. Having to coordinate my homeschooling is taking up a lot of my attention at the moment, and I'm not sure when it'll aleviate. Hope this isn't a problem. _________________ * SDHawk has joined #Minnek

Leroy: It doesn't have to be completely random, actually. Have you
ever seen a comic strip where five different authors worked like this?
The story blends perfectly nine times out of ten. I mean, if you TRY
to mess everything up, you can, but it shouldn't be that difficult to
keep everything together.

Yah, so you saw what we were working on in der story thread then, eh?!
Ok, I know what you are saying... That one is random, but I try to keep it together. I will try harder on this project...

I was thinking about this project and I was thinking of how everyone involved will be contributing in their own way. I think it would be cool if each person involved makes one playable character. Although it may not be a good idea considering how many people will working on it (too many characetrs in one game) and the textboxes and such. But I still think this would be a neat idea. |

I think the main characters ought to be well defined quickly into the production on the game. The last thing we need is everyone using up their 2 days trying to delevop their own charater for part of the story, who will suddenly became mostly insignificant once the next person takes over..
On the other hand, everyone may want to add themselves as an NPC somewhere, or put themselves in a hirable playable character in a cheat shop somewhere, like the Wandering Hamster Cheat shop.
Like gfx and music, can we write plotscripts in advance? (Or use plotscripts from other games or experimentations) _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Am I the only person who thinks that half of the people who joined will drop out when it's there turn to work on the game, ruining the contest for everyone else? |

Wow, this reminds me of the Fusion Comic I'm participating in at Renzokuken. It started out organized, but once two people quit in a row, it went every which way. Considering that, it still seems to be going well! I do believe that I posted a link in Hunter's thread in the Art board. |

Good point. Give everyone a 1 or 2 day warning and ask if they're still going to do it. If they don't reply or say no, hand over the file to next person instead. If the person does come back and says that their computer blew up, etc, but they can do it now, thread them in after the replacement person. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |
