Eh, I'll probably pass on this one. I am currently lacking the midi software to compose...sorry.

If we let you use a song but forego the $100 payment, is the song still ours? Because, in my mind, art should belong to everyone and no one, and everything I do is up for grabs as long as I get credit of some sort for creating it.

Me - Well, technically you still 'own' the song, that is, you wrote it, you just couldn't re-sell it or reuse it...
Of course, what you probably wanted WAS to reuse the song (because you wanted to forget the $100 payment...)
I guess the important part is that Fyre wants NEW songs...not some stuff you dug up off your HD that you've used in your other games...
Yeah. My midi keyboard is stupid.

However, I am always considering public domain music for some of my smaller projects, so toss over any music you've got, if you want to.
Update: At least 3 people have applied so far.

Of course, you'll find out once the game is released anyway..
