What kind of tutorial are you exactly looking for? The accompanying faqs help quite a bit, as does skimming the what's new sections. If you are looking for something beyond simple mechanics, you need to be more specific. _________________ "Live by the dice, die by the dice."

Custom *does* come with several tutorials. You should probably start by reading through the howto and stuff.. Also, you should download Wandering Hamster off the OHR page. The file is unpassworded and it comes with the script, so it's pretty helpful to just look through the file. _________________ im realy ded |

I'm making an OHR graphics tutorial for my site as we speak, but I won't have the first part of it up for at least one week.
Edit: It rhymes! Wheeee! That's cool! |

In an ideal world, the HOWTO would contain tutorials for every possible thing you can do with the OHRRPGCE... but unfortunately I have had no time to write new chapters for it-- not for a long time. If anyone is interested in helping out, I would gladly accept:
(a) corrections/updates to the existing HOWTO chapters
(b) whole new chapters for the HOWTO
http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/howto.html
High on my list of things-to-do is to break the howto into separate files for each chapter, and to write a list of what new chapters are most needed... and I dunno, maybe to write a few new chapters myself :)

on the note of someone helping with updating/correcting the howto, i've found a few typos in the plotdictionary (i think it was that, well one of the *.html files) i can correct the typos and see how it goes. _________________ If we were a pack of dogs, IM would be a grand Hound, CN would be a very ficious little pitball, and Giz...well, it doesn't matter breed he is, he'd still be a bitch

You know, it requires a lot of free time, but if you really want to know how to plotscript, than read through the plotscript dictionary of commands. I've done it a few times, and now I know a lot about plotscripting. So much, in fact, that I believe you can do anything with time, effort, and a decent knowledge of the commands.
Heck, I'm customizing everything in WGMD... |
