hi im new to this site but not to ohr. still im having trouble opening game.exe or any of the .exe's that come with games from the game list any help would be awsome

Interesting, what operating system are you using? I've seen that before on the XP systems, up at the high school (before I left them behind muahahah) I'm not the greatest guy to ask on this subject, as I've not run into problems like this very often before, but I'm willing to do all I can to help Big grin

VDMS is for sound. It won't help in this case. (still, since you have XP, wouldn't hurt to get it. It's on CP's game list)

Did you unzip everything in the same folder?

Interesting. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this sounds like that nefarious playing.tmp bug....or was that fixed? Since you're getting a writing error, I'm guessing it has something to do with XP not allowing for the temporary stuff to be written (or as the case may be, deleted.)

You probably booted it once on accident and quit it impropperly. The new Game.exe saves files in TEMP rather than ram to speed up game speed, however, if you quit it while it is running it can be bad.

Go to C:-->Windows-->Temp

Delete everything in the folder (but NOT the folder itself)

Some things probably won't delete because you are using them right now. Raspberry!

Just delete everything you can, especially the folders.

Retry.

If that doesn't work, re-download it.

VDMS actually makes the OHR run better, believe it or not. If you are still haveing problems try running the program in that.

After you've tried all this and it still doen't work...I'll get back to you on that. Smokin'

ya i tryed to delete the stuff in playing.tmp and when i opened it again it said this whole thing about doing just what i did it says: if problem persists manually delete C:/Windows/Temp/playing.temp, but it still is messed up
