Usergroups. I would like to see usergroups. Their purpose would primarily be used as a sorting mechanism, and allow users to seek out common interests, form potentially lasting friendships, and of course be a feature that CP can add to the long list of benefits that it's compeditors do not.

What are your thoughts on this? Opinions? What potential applications would you like to see this used for, for example games, applications, etc? What groups would you like to see? Again, comments and suggestions are welcomed.

Well, in the old days, all you'd have to do was start a thread in Paradox lounge and ask "hey, who else likes (blank)?" Of course, you could always do that in Renzo anyway, so I dunno if it would be useful. It sounds interesting enough to try though, I think.

btw, what "competitors" does CP have?

Well aside from Fyre's eternally undead or defucnt OHRotaku/OHRRPGCE.com which has been offline for two months... the rest aren't really worth mentioning since they never update or no longer exist.

I've never even seen a usergroup since I joined CP.

i thought it was explained by fen's first post.

anyway, it'll be a good idea. i'm wondering... "what competition?" couldn't septaweekly or some of them supposedly dead threads still come up once in a while.
