I'm pretty sure someone (won't drop any names) is going to be writing a review for this, but I'd like it if others would give it a go too. I enjoy sharing my work and seeing what the public thinks, as well as seeing how well it does on the rating system, that way I know where my weak points are, and what to improve upon, while also knowing what to keep and tweak. That's all, thanks _________________ * SDHawk has joined #Minnek

I'll review it if I have time this weekend to play through it and whatnot. Beware, I'm not experienced in reviewing, though. I was going to make my first review of Urban Fantasy, but after reading Aetheral's review, I think he pretty much said it all.

Okay, thought I might get in trouble for replying to Shadowiii's review in the form of a new topic, so I decided to do it here. I wanted to thank you for the review (of course) as well as the inspiration, if you will. I was curious as to what I needed to work on, so... that helped immensely. I will try to keep up what I'm doing and improve, and maybe it will get to be something great. If not, well, I learned. Anyway, thanks again. _________________ * SDHawk has joined #Minnek

This is a great example of how a review should be taken. I confess I did bash his game quite a bit (though I tried to soften the blows), but he didn't yell or throw it back in my face.
I'm glad you liked my review. If all revew recipients replied this postively and responsablly to the reviews, CP would be a much better place. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

There would also be a whole lot more reviews being written, if game designers stopped looking for praise in their reviews and craved the constructive criticism reviews were written for to help improve their games. There’s been quite a few times where I haven’t written a review for a bad game because I know it would be so much wasted effort on the creator. |

I myself like the constructive criticism kind, as it lets me learn from what I did wrong, so I can make something better in its place, and hopefully become as great some some of the elites here. I won't deny that it feels good to know something of yours you did right, but by far and by large, I prefer the former to the latter. _________________ * SDHawk has joined #Minnek

i enjoy a constructive critism here and there. it tells people (not necessarily the creator) how to improve and what to look out for.
it's how most people learn... by trial and error...
personally, i'd enjoy a praise here and there, but i'd prefer the critism, as it helps with development. (of course, "i hate this game." critism is not what i'm talking about. _________________ If we were a pack of dogs, IM would be a grand Hound, CN would be a very ficious little pitball, and Giz...well, it doesn't matter breed he is, he'd still be a bitch
