Purgatory was supposed to be due on Halloween when I first started making the tiles... and I thought I was going to make it. But I underestimated my school workload. It was almost impossible to work on Purgatory because my sadistic professor kept showering us with 3d design projects. I did however, manage to finish the 80% version of Purgatory, which is still being playtested. I pondered for a while to decide whether I want to release the 80% on halloween or just wait and release the final version later on instead. I chose the latter.
Anyhow, here's what I have so far:
There's a new miniboss sequence and two new tilesets. I didn't bother to check the length of the update, but I'm guessing around 20-30mins. The final version should have at least 1h30mins of pure gameplay time. It should be finished by mid-november... hopefully.

ah thanks. You might want to wait until the final release before you start playing. It's more satisfying that way

Well, crap. I already have 25% burned on my "play these games as soon as you get a computer" CD... I guess I'll just have to make another. |

I think it's a little bit too late for the announcement, since the full version's been out for a couple of days now. For the sake of not drowning the forum with new topics, I decided to post it here instead. Lately, as retrogamer started visiting the IRC channel again, I have realized that I have completely forgotten to put his name on the credit list due to my carelessness. He is responsible for the flashlight script, which is a rather handy tool for those of you with dark monitors. If there are others I've missed on the list, please accept my utmost apology as I really didn't do it on purpose.
