Well why not?

Someone does something similar to what Setu did: make a song that lasts a few seconds then everyone else tries to remix/rearrange. I found the last contest pretty fun and would like to do more things like that.

Maybe it doesn't have to be a "free*" remix all the time but rather the entries have to be in some sort of style - a march, a waltz, etc.

if i/you did this i only have one question: who would do all the beginning entries that everyone remixes? My current idea is that the contest winner of the previous one does it, then the winner of the most recent does the next one.

Btw, I posted this here because i think it gets more views than musician's corner and here also had the original contest.

*means you do it however you see to. If you want to make the song a march you make it a march, or if you'd rather make it a reggae style song you do that instead)

This is a good idea, Arque, except I don't think biweekly'll work out, since we do have busy schedules.

Probably monthly would be cool, but I think we should keep one annual contest where prizes are involved.

I dunno. What do you guys think here?

many (if not all) people have a busy schedule and will have a hard time to be hosting a bimonthly/monthly contest...
of course, it'll be pretty fun, i'd cheer the person who decides to do so.
