This is o' Mike. You know, you love him.

This is Eggie, and me trying to draw him with good outlines. Obviously he is a leaning if you look a little closely, but I tried to get the anatomy a little better than my previous work.

This will be my last post ever in the Art forum, since Friend really doesn't enjoy my unique brand of critism, and I don't feel like being banned, and then unbanned, again.

I leave you with this: Is that supposed to be a horse? No, really, I honestly cannot tell what that thing is.

Eggie looks a lot better with the new proportions. I knew you could do it. Also, I like the folds on his clothes.
Mike's neck is WAY too thin to support his head. If he was that way, his head would be lolling about, mostly resting on his chest, possibly breaking off. The body looks okay, but it's leaning to the left, like Eggie is. Also, move the head back a bit. An anthromorphic horse wouldn't have its head attached to its neck at the very back - that's very unstable. For a being to be bipedal, the head must connect to the neck fairly close to the center of the skull. Since it's a horse, I can understand the snout sticking out quite a bit, but the back part of the head needs to be more centered.

Fix the poses, Eggie. The drawings would be so much better if the poses were fixed into showing better character. Also, change the folds on the pants. They look bad like that.. Look at some of Toriyama's stuff. He does folds really well.

WIZ: WTF is with you and toromiya folds is all he does well! The art on dragonball Z sucked/ the art on sandland sucked akira's storys where mindless too. Studo Ghibli rules over all time(miyazaki).

Eggie: eggie please take my advice to heart. I used to just draw rom my head, if you do that that shows how wonderfuly creative you are secondly I admire it when people keep dissing you but you refuse to give up, very cool indeed.

But my advice is draw and out line of the person using circles. Helps with complicated poses and poportion. when ready to actually draw the charecter draw it (only use the circles as guide line or your person will look werid) and I think every thing will come out better Neutral

but thtas just me..

Battleblazes, please take your off topic arguments about which japanese cartoonist is better to a more appropriate place, such as the table in a high school cafeteria where all the unwashed, ritalin-addled special-ed students sit; an anime IRC channel, the adult swim boards, or at least a different forum than this one. Further manga hijinx on your part will result in your demotion to reading CLAMP and Marmaduke.

Yeah, you're a moron. I was just telling him a reference for clothing folds, and you freak out. Shut the hell up. No one wants to hear you whine about a trivial matter on a minor reference point. Also, no one wants to hear you telling ANYONE to stick ANYTHING in there pipe and smoke/whatever it. Also, don't revive dead/unused threads because that is the worst thing EVAR.

Someone needs to apologize to Eggie for that he always has annoying as christ trollers in his art threads.

Woah now. I think that a few people in this thread need to get a hold of themselves. This thread isn't made for you guys to argue about who does what better or why such and such is a moron (the latter doesn't belong ANYWHERE, that's a flame). The thread's about Eggie's art. I think a few people in here need to take their discussion to AIM, e-mail, or private messages.

This is warning #1. Keep the thread on topic - if you guys can't take your blathering and insulting somewhere else I'm going to close this thread.

Oh, yeah, and to keep it on topic: Eggie, your artwork is shaping up a bit, this looks much better than the stuff you did before. I agree with MCW in that Toriyama is extremely good at clothing folds, so study some of his stuff (I don't like DBZ's artwork so I recommend studying artwork from other projects he has worked on, such as Chrono Trigger or Dragon Quest).
