The reviews have been flooding in like presents to a rich kid on Christmas morning. This is definitely something good for the community. And the best part is, it's not all the same people (Shadowiii ). That's what's really great. It's just going to show that CP is making a comeback from it's slump of participation and that the community is working together once again! So if you've written a review lately, give yourself a nice hearty pat on the back. That's right, I'm doing it too. _________________ ---------------Projects----

Since when was CP having "it's" slump of participation. There's a lot of interaction going on here, Red. |

Yes, but reviews kinda...died lately (I was the only one doing them) and now there are quite a few, which is good. I cut back reviewing because 1. I'm working on my own game and 2. I don't want to write reviews that won't be read/used (IE: Me review)
So...yeah. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

Yeah, so now I know how to write good reviews (and overrate them). I'll partcipate more. And also, a comment for all of those guys who thought that CP was fine, I was right. CP was on a slump. But that doesn't matter because it's okay. |

Slump or no slump, Red's point was right. I am starting to play your games, and even though a lot of you hate me, I will STILL give you a good review if it is deserved. Some games are EXTREMELY long, but I MUST endure! YAY! Some are all inspireing. Hope to talk more about the reviews on the Chat, but just one word of warning: ... Don't play TTLQuest `till I release the new version. You are bound to stumble into that "grammar trap" sooner or later, and I have NO idea why I am quoting myself there.
PS: Don't play it yet... _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

I suppose I can take a shot at writing a review. I just have to find a candidate... *flips through the gamelist* I'll find one.
...Eventually...
By the way, LeRoy, I had Heat switch TQ over to your account; we can update it with the new version as soon as you'd like. _________________ * SDHawk has joined #Minnek

The average time to play through any given COMPLETE OHRRPGCE game is still roughly 4-6 hours. And that's a rough average, mind you. All those people who think FFH is too incredibly long should look at Walthros or Timestream Saga 1, which took MCW 40 hours to finally beat. Doubt there'll be any reviews of those two for a while. |

No, actually I'm just a level up whore. Otherwise it would have been around 15 or so. |

There are some games that aren't that long. Like look at all those games that were made for a contest, short and sweet. Take Halloween Quest for example. It's 3 hours long and that covers everything. And then Pitch Black is like 30+ minutes. There are other games just as short. And it's our duty as community members to review these games and show people our opinions on the good and the bad. And heck, it could take you about 6-7 hours to play through Mr.Triangle's Shitty Adventures 1-4. So Minnek, here's a small few you could give a whirl at. But I'm sure you can find your own games to review. _________________ ---------------Projects----

You ever actually manage to beat Ultima Buster? Zip file's got the old walkthrough in it, so now you can tackle it if you needed to. Also note you can cheat at the beginning and get 32000 HP for Kyle right at the start (so there's no excuse not to be able to beat it). Can we say longest OHR game? I think Walthros lasted only around 14.5 for me (disturbingly funny game, Walthros. Congrats to PHC). |

Yes I did. Was kind of disappointing, considering I don't understand the idea of getting an "ULTIMAT WEPON" from the.. er.. "ULTIMAT MONSTAR". I just don't think it makes sense. If you're ultra enough to beat it then why do you need more ultra? |

Bwaha, the community in a slump?
Reviews are being produced ten times faster than they ever were before. Even on a slow week for CP, it's still way more than back on O:OHR or RPG Online. |
