Contrary to popular belief(or loser belief) TPD is underway.
Gameplay concepts
MEGA MAP.
The entire game is played on one map covering the entire city the only other map is the one for inside houses & buildings. This way I think things will run smoother and then enables the playder to easly hunt for stuff without the annoyance of doors. Don't worry you dont have to walk through an entire city. you own a Go-kart( I tryed a bike NPC for a vehicle but it got complicated).
Eye Candy visuals.
Like I said before an anime drivin storyplot. I'm no Hayo Miyazaki but I don't suck( it looks like manga more n anime) I'm not sure whether I should do it Manga style to save space or vignettes for the whole scene... If ting work out I might get a in a few scenes with blocky animation.
Battle: Fun BLITZ
The starting battles will be easy since you find out you have robot powers and can call a gaint robot(similar to big O) to puch out bullies. But as you progress the eniemes get harder (such as robot similar to big duo, fao, and venus)
All this cobined with near FLCL plot and nonsensical humor this should turn out to be one kick @$$ waste of time.
Look for the 20% demo in a few weeks _________________ Indy OHR! and National OHR Month Contest going on now!

You're ripping off of every prime timr television show I enjoy and I hate you.

Yeah, you can only have a max of 35 NPCs on a map that won't be enough for your whole game will it? _________________ Im on 99% game making and 1% schoolwork so that kleaves no time to post.

35 differnt npcs mind you and good maps can help out to make a map look bigger than what it is i.e maptiles with people interacting with enviroment.
As for your question no it will not be the whole game. The Big map acts as an external world and since it's one map it's easier to explore, seacrch for stuff etc. and there are gona be other maps like the insides of peoples houses, schools, city jail, Gaint building that reaches into space etc.
The real target was to have smooth gamplay
As for huntergreen I'll try n get a pic on ma site and get th picture here(in my next post) _________________ Indy OHR! and National OHR Month Contest going on now!
