Too bad for windows sound recorder's 60 second limit.. I couldn't even get in one whole loop of the song. None the less, heres a sample:
60 Second Sample of Final Fantasy Gaiden's Battle Music
It translates into bam just about perfectly the way it is ^^ Let me know what you think. |

It starts off pretty dull (no, I don't mean the FF intro, I mean what comes after it). While it's good to have some less intense parts later in the battle theme, it should start off much more exciting than this. As it is, listening to the beginning of that song over and over again throughout the game would get kinda old. I like the rest of the song well enough, but it's still a little slow for my tastes. |

You wrote this? Awesomers. Has a good hint of Nobuo but has a different taste. Although its end is pretty anti-climactic. Keep it up though. _________________ If you hit a plane with the soccer, could you afford to fix it? - Shaolin Soccer

That actually wasnt the end veldunga. The sound recorder's 60 second limit cut the song short. Thats why it sounds wierd. =)

Well Iblis, I'll try to write another battle theme that is a bit faster and I'll compare the two to see which one fits the actual battle best.
Could you direct me to an example of a battle theme that would more suit the criteria you mentioned? If I have an example to work from I may be able to come up with a similar styled song in a week or so. |

That was a good article, thank you.Its neat to see so many good original battle and boss themes.
I think I'll stick to my own style, rather than trying to copy shadowiis, but I'll try to rewrite the opening of this one to be a bit more upbeat somehow, and then ill repost a sample of that later. |

Hey I really appreciate it, Setu. You too Velduanga. I'm very glad some of you guys liked it, since I have been having a hard time trying to remake it faster without loosing quality ^_^
I'll try to keep the same style going throughout the the rest of the sound track. Thanks very much! ^^ |

Just press "ctrl"+"c" to copy the 60 seconds, then "ctrl"+"v" to paste, this should double your time. Unless I have a different version of Window's Sound Recorder. |
