I'd just like to remind all of the new users, and perhaps old ones who didn't know about it, that we have an IRC channel. #ParadoxLounge on irc.esper.net, which you can connect to via an IRC client, or the Chat Room button at the top of your screen. We really don't have many new people in there, and it gets a bit stuffy with just the same old faces.

Also, there's an IRC Usergroup, where we tend to post our antics, warning on any ongoing pranks, and the like. Activity peaks around 4 or 5PM EST, and again at about 2-3 AM, EST, but someone's usually there any time you go. Join in folks, it's great fun.

Yes, it is very fun to hang around, but you're forgetting about the extreme perversion on there. Warning kids, prepare yourself for a disgusting ride. Of course you'll grow into it. Hey, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger... or weaker.

that perversion mostly happens at the 2-3AM EST Time period, and is caused by the one and only Giz!! Big grin

have fun, it's alive from 8AM - 3AM EST (almost everyone is asleep from 3AM - 8AM EST, unless you live around Europe)

Actually, I can do both. Simply chat and make graphics in the Paint window. Of course, you would have to be an importer. I import just because I can reuse files easier. So, I can do both. But sometimes there is little activity on the IRC.

Of course, if Castle Paradox never existed, I would have no real reason to finish Stop besides personal pleasure, and if I wanted personal pleasure I'd play Ragnarok.

The community is good, but too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. Which is why I don't get on IRC very often.

Yeah, Fenrir, but without ParadoxLounge, you might have been insane 3 months ago. I mean, all the perversion, and zaniness that goes on in there has to go on in there, or else it'll get all bottled up. And one day, it will release. Violently. Perhaps at school or work where suddenly shouting "OMG! I WANT TO HAVE YOUR BABY IM!!!" would reflect badly on you. And, for all the talk of perversion, it isn't really that perverted. Sure, sometimes we border on bad taste, but it's all in good fun, and so long as you keep your tongue in your cheek (And ONLY YOUR cheek) you won't get too bent out of shape over it. Did you really need to advertise it? No matter that it's linked 300 times on the site. If you're getting less people, maybe that's a hint that people are getting tired of your stupid crap (ie, your asinine kick script whenever you type /me plays air guitar ), or the fact that Jabbercat, of all people, can influence bans and kicks, it's probably some time for a self-examination. And soon you'll figure out why people are coming less and less.

Gentlemen please, let's be civil.

The mirc channel for Castle Paradox can be used for whatever purpose the user chooses. In Fyre's case, he blames it for distracting him from his games and work in general. However, I'm sure many people can attest that the channel can also be used to discuss new game ideas, make friends, and generally have a good time. In fact, without #paradoxlounge, I would never have been able to effectly create Castle Paradox!

But as all of you can see, #cp can become addictive, and some folks like Fyrewulff have developed a dislike for it when they realize how addicted they are. It's easy for people to say that admins are being abusive, people don't focus on OHR, or there are too many idiots to make the experience enjoyable. But the fact of the matter is that it is your choice on how you use #CP, and I'm sure many users can attest to how they enjoy their time there, or perhaps wish they hadn't ever logged in. Irregardless, for those OHRers who are looking for a more relaxed setting then the forums to discuss a variety of topics and have fun, I'd say #CP is a great place for OHRers to gather.
