The manual doesn't tell me that well, and I think it is okay to post this hear because I need this Dosbox on fullscreen so it'll run faster, and I can import Bams, so I can make a game with music. |

Open up dosbox.conf, then change fullscreen=false to fullscreen=true. There you go. _________________

Well, I have a thing called XP. XP is a very well designed Windows system, but for some reason, it disallows music to be played in OHR and OHR related programs. And Dosbox helps.
And I changed false to true, and it says I have a run-time error! Is the program very zoned in on what it reads? Is there something I am missing? |

You want VDMS then, not DOSBOX. Go download that, then get my shortcut off the HRP homepage (for best performance), and enjoy. _________________

Or just press alt + enter. If that doesn't work, right click properties on dosbox and set it to fullscreen mode.
But as Fyre said, VDMS is better anyway. |

WinXP, well designed!?!?!?
Were you born yesterday?
XP is stuffed with so much crap in it, it eats the HIGH hardware requirements for breakfeast...
anyway, VDMS might work better than Dosbox for fullscreen function...
EDIT: i was not meant to turn this into a Win2k vs. WinXP, that's what i left out of the post. _________________ If we were a pack of dogs, IM would be a grand Hound, CN would be a very ficious little pitball, and Giz...well, it doesn't matter breed he is, he'd still be a bitch

I don't know about you, but 98' for me had a lot more problems. The only thing I have to worry about on XP is Virtual Memory, but I just found out how do fix that problem.
Flamer - I was born every day, and will be born everyday on.
Also, the screen is too stretched to the top. I guess I could use my monitor settings to change that, but...
And it still runs slow, but I only have to use it for music, so I am not completely screwed. |

Distortion at the top of your screen? Using DOSBOX or VDMS? Sounds like it might be a monitor problem though.
Running slow? Did you try Fyre's VDMS shortcut?
XP is good for me, its stable, almost never crashing. Yes, its requirements are high, and it'll run sluggishly for you if you have a slow computer. But my computer is only 1.5GHz and it's fine. Not to mention that it boots up faster than any other Windows system. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Windows 98 has always been my favorite. It works great for all types of games and has a nice compatibility for dos.
I never get those errors from the windows system files. I can play anything I want and another bonus is that my sound card, a very old one, can play BAMs. My PC is a 200Mhz P1. Win98.
The PC I use for internet on the other hand is much better. _________________
