| The 48 hour contest usually begins mid July on a weekend, and that's what I'm scheduling as. I'm currently trying to come up with some sort of challenge that could be used (First year it was a genre vote, second was open, third was a secret theme). Perhaps this year could be open as well... |

Last year's contest didn't come out that great, to be brutally honest. That's mainly because I entered it, but I think that an open theme served better for the purposes of the 48 Hour Contest. Why did it work out better? I don't know.

Actually... that second contest worked quite well for two main reasons...
1. It was open...
2. It was when a new version was released.
If I could have the luck of starting the contest when a new version comes out, then this next contest would be very successful. |
