a role-playing forum (where i was the infamous UONPCer (unofficial official non-player character-er), providing random npcs for other players to play against). someone else was telling the forum's moderator about the ohr, and i saw the link and followed it too. _________________ LJ.Art

I said "friend of a friend", cuz my little brother's friend showed it to him once and I thought "cool", but that guy probably got it from Squall, since we all went to the same high school. I did know about OHR before learning that Squall went to my school (do you guys still remember the Zantetsuken thread?) _________________

Yeah...
As for me, I found out from a game called "Ends of Earth", which was pretty good. After the first five minutes I found out that I couldn't beat the snake things, so I gave up for a year, then started playing it again, etc...
After two more months, I finally beat it and I decided to read the readme, which sent me to the Hamster Republic.
Holy Crap, just over a year to figure that out... |

I was looking for RPG makers. Had OHR on my computer for over a year before I actually tried it out. When I did, it was bye-bye RPG Maker 95! That was...four years ago. |

TwinHamster: You must be talking about Valkayree's "Ends of the Earth". It was one of the first finished OHR games, and someone also posted it up on downloads.com
As for me, I found it while looking for RPG roms =P |
