Does anyone have a copy of EDT-T2? Or Paladus? (the link on this page (site) is 6kb and RedMurdock software is down (permantly)).
I'm thinking of reopening Black Sun Productions (similar to RPGOnline), but finding these games to review is a difficult task. So far, I've gathered 72 RPG's that aren't listed on this site (dating 1999 - 2000).
Any help tracking down these older games is greatly appericated. |

I look forward to seeing Black Sun come back. That was my last favorite OHR site. _________________

You can't bring back Black Sun. Well, I guess you could but what makes you the Black Sun authority? _________________ My name is...

Thanks a lot, Komera! Setu_Firestorm, there were 4 versions of EDT if memory serves. I used to have them all...
version 1 -Beta release, the cabin is poorly drawn and the Ash sprite is different. There is an author's introduction.
version 2 -Public release 1. (one I've got) Released to RPG Online.
version 3-Similar to public release.
version 4-Take 2. One of the best OHRRPGCE games I've ever seen.
Also, I discovered "Take 3" through custome exe. (updated map tiles) |

I got EDT just by being around a very long time ago. Unfortunately, I lost it when my hard drive crashed a few years ago. :\
Anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing Black Sun come back. That was a pretty good site, probably second to RPG-Online. I'll always remember it for the font download at the bottom of every page. ^_^;; _________________

I played EDT back when it was new. It was largely considered the best game of its time and generally accepted as very hard.
Black Sun... What site am I thinking of that had backgrounds so annoying that you couldn't read the page and only six reviews or so? That couldn't have been Black Sun. _________________

BlackSun Productions was done in a "black and white" design. It was kinda-like RPG Online's rival site. We had a huge archive of games.
The two site games we were developing were "Eternal Epic" and "Eternal Epic 2". They were really well done, but sadly I don't even know if they exist anymore. Maybe an ex-member has a copy? (wouldn't begin to know where to look)
Anyway, this project is a defiante GO. I'll have the site up by the Winter. Maybe earlier, I don't know yet. |

I have both those files. They have not aged that well, though they're still ok graphically. What was your name at the time? _________________ My name is...

I loved black sun's review list layout. Even better than CPs, of course that's probably because I like final scores on a scale from 0 to 10, carried out to one decimal point more than I like school grades. |

My name was Joel. At least I think it was... ? Anyway, that was a long time ago. (4 years if memory serves)
"The Drizzle" were you part of our crew? I'm pretty sure we only released copies among staff. I know we were using staff member names for some of the bosses of EP1 (mine was Joel & Cole).
Do me a favor and contact me via email. I have a few more questions. |
