2 people have downloaded the OST. I'm getting nervous.

As a note it you don't read the notepad document, the first track, "A World Up There" is jumpy because it was made in Stephanie's PC Piano. For a little commentary, it was actually just a freestyle session that I did and later listened to and liked. It sounds horrible as a BAM, so I'm probably going to redo it.

I've never really let anyone that I don't know (face to face, that is) listen to my music. And this really isn't the best of my music, so I'm overly worried. Compared to some of the soundtracks that I've heard (Crescent Dream, Oni Neko, Moogle and KainMinter's stuff) I feel that mine is horrible.

I've listened to them all. I really like them.
Would you be interested in composing music for an upcomming game of mine?
The themes were great, The Boss Battle music was awsome. Razz

You can compose. Dont be nervous... You can only get good comments from here...

Are you talking about track number 5? I threw that one together in about 30 minutes.

Currently, I'm trying to see if KainMinter wants me to work on FF Gaiden, but I'll gladly take on your project too. You can post here or PM me some info.

*Crosses his fingers* The power of Christ compells you, RPGSpot!

No. But, seriously. It's really heart warming that there are still a lot of busy composers out there. We really died in that area about a few months ago. it's good to see that it's picking up again. Great work!

Dude, Calehay, I got your PM.

My honest opinion is:

I think what you have here is a great start, and I don't think you should feel ashamed at all. My guess is that you must have been composing for at least a year or two at least, because you show a bit of experience; if I'm wrong, then you must just be that darn good.
My only recommendation is that you add a tad bit more beef to it. Some pieces (for example: 5 could use a stringbed covering the mid to high octaves, and 3 could use something like that just to add more meat to it). However, tracks 1 and 2 are perfect...do NOT touch them. Raspberry!

All in all, though, you're off to a great start. Keep it up!

Out of all the people here, I didn't think you would like it Setu! I'm amazed.

You're slightly right. I've been "composing" since 3 years, but I never really got serious until mabye a year and a half ago. (I'm the rocker that listens to musicals, the oddest combination ever!) Mostly I compose songs for my imaginary (slightly, they'll probably never be done or useable.) This is my first time actually composing for a game (I have this big pile of crap that I labeled as RPG music.) Thanks for listening.
