I just beat the Black Rabite. For a Lv99 monster who can summon Lv99 monsters, he wasn't that hard. (Except when he chain-cast fifty spells, including one that Moogled your whole party.)
Party:
Duran Lv48 Duelist
Lise Lv48 Star Maiden
Carlie Lv48 Necromancer
Black Curse pwns bosses. _________________

Ah yeh, my best party had Carlie as a Necromancer too... I think This is the greatest class, for what you mentioned, the black curse.
Oh, if you do a play again, try Lise's Fenrir Knight, it's better than the Star Gladiator. |

Hawk(Ninja Master) is my favorite character in that game. It isn't necessarily the best class, but it's fun to use. _________________ i kik azz play mah gaymz

I agree with this on account that I like the color scheme she gets, and also for her abilities - str down, mind down, etc., which should come in handy against bosses. Besides, instead of having to recast your protective buffs whenever a boss manages to take out one of your party members, the stat downs *should* stay in place, no matter what. That and her image has a wolf humping her leg O snap
At any rate this has little to do with OHR, so I'll hijack this thread like a bunch of Islamic Terrorists and send this in an alternative direction.
The most difficult boss in an OHR game I've seen yet is OBVIOUSLY Slither from MTSA5, so I'm issuing a challenge to the community to see if he can be beat. He has 20000 HP and an elemental weakness to Lightning, so do keep that in mind. First person to submit a screenshot of any scene therafter (or the next foe) wins. |

Fenrir, there's a difference between "difficult" and "way the crap unbalanced to impossible." _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

I still have a feeling it *could* be done in theory. I've been able to do about 15000 cumulative to him and could technically have won, were it not for the lack of extra rootbeer/elixir. If the healing were more effective or the characters hit harder, then yes, it would be feasable to do. The point is to see if it could be done, much like the fight against the afforementioned BLACK RABITE *echo* |

Necromancer makes Fenrir Knight obsolete pretty quick. Black Curse! _________________
