I'm back.
Anyway, since my first game really REALLY sucked; I am going to try to make a game thats truly....unique. So, I was wondering has there been any OHR war games made? Because I was thinking of doing a war game. Or if there has ever been any mafia games made? I thought some of you members that have been here awhile might know.

The only mafia thing I can think of is the Doughnut mafia in the Bob the Hamster series... It might turn out nice if you make the situations interesting and full of twists.

Currently working on a war game right now. You might want to make a few better games before trying to script a custom engine.

Just kidding.
But can someone who knows what their doing pair up with me and help me make it so it wont really suck? I right now have the hero and how it moves and stuff. Thats about it.

Even if you know what you're doing, the end result can still be terrible. There's more to games than knowing what you're doing. And what do you want help with anyway? For someone to help with graphics or plotscripts or what? There are people with special talents y'know. If you want a story I could write you one that's very good. If you want graphics or plotscripting, then I'd suggest someone else since I'm still experimenting with those...

A big game has a big name...
the name is similar to one introduçoa needs to be well chosen... the name has that to have impact! 
the other things in have the problem... 
portugues:
Um grande jogo tem um grande nome...
o nome is parecido com uma introduçoa precisa ser bem escolhido...o nome tem que ter impacto!!!
as outras coisas no have a problema...

I need help with maptiles, plotscripting. IS ANYONE GOOD AT THESE THATS WILLING TO HELP A POOR GUY OUT?????hope so.
But, yah, you can help with the story if you want.

Sorry, man. I'm booked and have bitten off more than I can chew (very fast) already. Best of luck finding someone who is able to help you. Otherwise the only thing you can do is try it for yourself. It takes time, but it is the only way to get better so you won't need too much (if any) help.
There is a nice phrase I heard once that sort of relates to this: "If you give a man a fish, you can feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you can feed him for life". And the best way to learn is to just hang around, observe others and apply what you observed to your work.

I could help with plotscripting...the maptiles I'm not so sure about...I'm still trying to work with those.
