It was Saturday. I was driving through the Pacific desert (the ocean had been drained) on my way to the CORE project, when I came across a whale. It wasn't dead yet, because the ocean had only been drained about two and a half hours ago, and stared at me with its big eyes, not in helplessness, not in hate, but joyful. This struck me as unusual because the last whale I came across tried to kill me and I had to shoot it with a large nuclear missile, which I believed knocked earth out of its normal orbit giving me about a day or two left to live. Any way, I pulled over to observe, when it rolled over onto its belly (it was on its side) and bounced around like a car with those juping things, and seemed to speak. I think it made its message pretty clear, because my Jeep did the same, blinking its headlights. Obvously, I was a little unerved by the incident, as I had seen it happen but once in my life so far, and it was destroying my car's suspension. Soon, I noticed a mountain crumble in the distance and I found myself bouncing ten feet in the air. Twenty feet in the air. Fourty feet in the air. I rapidly realized It became harder for me to breath, and suddenly I stopped falling. I began to suffocate, and was drawn into blackness.
Next thing I know, it's really bright, and I'm alone. However, it became slightly darker (maybe my eyes were adjusting) and I could make out a little lava lamp. It appeared to be the source of the light, because of the pitch blackness everywhere else, but the light was suddenly blackened by a huge object that fell apon it. For an eternity after, all I saw was the bouncing of two big, glowing spheres.
Until I awake in the morning.

This came to you in a dream, right? From what tramatic pit of insanity did you crawl out of? Can I have some of what your smoking?

What an inspirational story!
Does anyone else here think that the fact that the main character of this story pretty much caused everything to end the world is hilarious? Classic, but too weird to be enjoyable. I was scratching my head through the entire story. Too much so to get the message of this story. If there is one... Work on background a bit more. Need some description so I can see the story. We know what a dessert is like, but we demand more. Also was the whale a humpback, right, or baluga? XD

PS: The thing that gets cars to jump is called Hidralics, I believe. Spelling is iffy though.
