I've decided that im am now officially abandoning all other projects im working on right now... Because im going to start my newest project. Inspired by both Final Fantasy and Timestream Saga. Its will be a semi Final Fantasy VII sequel. Im still quite noobish as to graphics, but i finally mastered plot-scripting and assembly.

Im already into around 50 spells, i have 4 map tile sets, and 3 characters. I know that truly isnt much, but im trying. Id show some screen shots but i dont know how Really confused And i made a decision on the name... Final Fantasy- Dawn of Destruction. Im willing to accept help, if anyone even wants to. And also, if anyone can tell me how to post images, i can show a few screen shots. Happy Wish me luck on this project, im hoping to stick with it this time. Big grin

I'm Irish but my blessings rarely work. I have learned not to rely on "the luck of the Irish"

Anyways, I hope you already planned, at the very least, everything. If not, I don't care because I rarely play OHR games, so bah humbug.

But really, enough Final Fantasy. It's almost as bad as Megaman (as far as number of games) at this point.

Well, what do you mean? Practice by making a full length game that isn't serious because its just afinal fantasy game?

Cloud, you must realise that EVERYONE makes final fantasy ripoffs, though 90% never come to light, and most of the rest are terrible.

Power to you. Just remember the rules of sequel-making:

1. Never make your protagonist a character that has already been fully developed in the prequel.

2. Don't bother making a sequel to a game where all the conflicts are resolved by the end of the story. This is why FF7 is a good game to try to sequelize.

and 3. Release your game before Sephy releases FF7-2.

Yes, but not only is Squaresoft's FF7-2 a direct sequel of the original, it's going to be a movie, not a game.

And considering the way FF8 transcends time and space, it's probably already a game, prequel, and sequel in itself.

VERY bored... but anywasy, i thought id be fun to make a game from it.
And is Sephy even trying to get that done :S. Id guess my game will be out within 3-5 months. Sorry for the wait, im working on it solo, because i doubt anyone wants to help me thinking its goign to be a lost cause Ha ha ha!

Oh yah, does anyone really know how to put up a image, id be great to know. Oookay...

That depends on what you mean. I am assuming that you want to know how to show your screen shots in a post...

So, upload your screen shot to some kind of web space like photo bucket or geocities,
type (no spaces) < img> the image's http link < /img>, and the link should show the image when you submit the post.
Just so you are aware: I think it might have to be in Jpg or Png form...
