You really need to either start selling CDs or organizing your mp3s. I can't assign all of your secret music to folders.
Whoops. Now you know where all your bandwidth's been going.
On topic, I don't have my headphones right now so I can't listen. I'll tell you in the morning. *goes to sleep* _________________ "Everyone has 200,000 bad drawings in them, the sooner you get them out the better."

Although this sounds great quality-wise, I can't help thinking that you could have put a little more effort into this score. This is not an attack. I am sure it takes you hours, man. And I envy you for your ability to make so many great mp3s. I think the effects are great, but the song lacks subtlety. I can't put my finger on it. It's not as catchy as some of your others, I guess.
Basically, I think you could do better. I just couldn't keep this inside any longer.
Keep up the great work. Your time is certainly well directed in this area of the arts. I can't wait to sample more. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

It's really good! It's certainly not the Winterfold OST anyway! But is there a bit where the timing is a bit dodgey, or is that just me, or is it meant to be a bit skew-wiff? It's excellent anyway, keep up the good work! _________________ The Daleks are coming!! Woooo! |

Watch the use of off beats. It discombobulates the listener (technical term.. I swear... ) If you're gonna run off with a string of them, though, be sure to have a grounded beat... which leads me to...
Too much bass drum. IN a piece like this, the bass drum would be a bit more subdued. Like, not volume/dynamic, the part itself. Probably mainly just quarter notes, or the occasional 8th note, but there were some funky rhythms in the middle that don't make sense to a drummer.
But has a neat sound, otherwise. Nicely done. |

PHC- I hoped you wouldn't bring THAT up. XP
LeRoy- That's not an attack at all. I didn't really put a lot of effort into making it. As a matter of fact, it was just the Sew05 MIDI file with several effects and panning stuff thrown on it. So, your composer senses are quite right on this one.
Jazz Man- Keep in mind that at the time I did this, I was playing the drum track in realtime, which means I was playing it like you'd play a keyboard, which often results in offbeat tripping (which in my past works I've been very infamous for . When it comes to stuff that I specifically make for Nuendo, I started step recording the drum tracks (like on the new It Ate Desmond songs).
Joe Man- The only thing you need to do to find my seekrit folders is by typing:
http://setu.castleparadox.com/ ...
and the folders are:
- /songs (different assorted pieces that I've done)
- /cod_ost (Bastogne: City of Dreams MP3 OST)
- /cots_ost (Children of the Sky MP3 OST)
I think that's all of the MUSIC folders anyway... _________________

I already found your secret folders. I posted the directories on the IRC channel, and you were even there. The thing I don't like is the lack of labling and orginazation in the songs directory and the lack of songs in other directories.
Also, PHC, I knew about that. That's still not enough to satisfy my hunger for mp3s. :flamedevil: _________________ "Everyone has 200,000 bad drawings in them, the sooner you get them out the better."
