Small update to Pitch Black 2, for all those wondering. Here are all the changes.
-The file is now unpassworded (hooray, you can look at all the siderooms if you want).
-Added a walkthrough. Unlike Pitch Black 1, there are no "levels" of hints, it is a complete walkthrough. For those who don't want that, there are puzzle answers at the bottom, as well as a complete item list and a FAQ. It doesn't have any spoilers (to the best of my knowledge). Walkthrough tells you how to get all the endings, also.
-Added an included zip with maps. Be warned, the maps were made BEFORE I tiled the maps, so they may be a tiny bit off, but the general locations are completely correct.
-All the script files are now included. Mr. B's portions are well commented, mine aren't. There are two files, the main pitchblack2 file, and a pb2 file that is the lighting script. This script MAY be used in other games, but only if you ask me or Mr. B's permission first. Also, don't ask ME questions about it, because I bairly understand it myself.
-Added the well-deserving Uncommon to the list of special thanks. I use his font in the game (italics), and he also offered playtesting of the initial side room. Sorry I took so long.
As a side note, I'd recommend playing NoBams if you play the game. Simply because...well...the random encounters are still fritzy. It doesn't turn off any of the music or anything, it just turns off random encounters (and one puzzle is very slightly changed).
Anyway, hopefully someone can beat it now. I know no one has, because I haven't recieved hate mail regarding the ending yet.
Go get it!
As always, I like feedback. If you like/dislike/deleted the walkthrough, feel free to inform me on how I can fix it. Enjoy! _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |
