I have always dreamed... of one day becoming miss pixel of OHR. Now maybe my dream can finally come true. I am so happy... Y-Y
*blows his nose*
*sniff* I might be able to squeeze this in. It could be useful in future games anyway. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Only if you let it be.
Ysoft, can you lay out more specific rules? This is actually a seemingly interesting to me. _________________ A broken clock is still right twice a day. |

Um, you're still going to limit the color depth, right? Because if not, then it's not really a pixel art contest. _________________

/me puts sticky stuff on the topic
Well, the whole female character thing disqualifies me, hands down.
I spent too much time trying to perfect male characters, that I haven't done too well with the female. _________________

I might actually participate in this one.
If there are at least 12 entries, maybe it would be a good opportunity to ressurect the old idea of a calendar for CastleParadox's Cafepress store :) |

This sounds interesting. Indeed to create a female character for one of my current projects anyway. Finally a contest I can enter! |

I'd consider entering if it were better defined. "Appears pixelated" is a very poor criterion.
Limit the color depth to 256 at the very least. 100x100 is 10,000 pixels. You don't need 24 or even 16-bit color depth for that. _________________

okay, fine... just for the sake of humor and good spirit (and all that jazz), and to NOT have to make a completely new picture..., i submit the lady in my avatar: jenik. as i said in the monthly avatar contest thread, the original is 80x80, which i increased in photoshop to 100x100 to keep rippers at bay.
i don't expect to win because the pic uses about 10 colors, which is significantly less than the 256 contest limit. _________________ LJ.Art

It all depends how you use your colours***
A black and white drawing for instance could turn heads by just the way the pixels can form dithers and such gradients.
Im gonna enter. _________________
