the second iteration of zfrt has been released (and this time it's hosted on cp rather than on an external site).

something interesting that all of you might find in this game: it's the first released ohrrpgce ever with mouse support. yes, you can use your mouse in the game.

So far pretty impressive, although I agree that playing it right now is pretty much pointless other than to see what the OHR engine is capable of. The mouse support is quite neato.

You need to have the quaternion (the next version of OHR, which hasn't been officially released yet) to use the mouse functions.

Games aren't supposed to be fun! However, if a game is NOT fun, it should be a choice on the author's part, not random chance or lack of talent that makes it unfun.

And Rinku, why you keep releasing versions when it's not as good as it should be yet? We can wait.

the reason for the weekly updates is for the early playtesters. anyone who plays through these early versions and gives me feedback will be helping the game be better than it would be otherwise. it's a form of beta testing.

I really like it... man that is very interesting - If only you could take this game back 10years... you would be packing some good cash (Once it is complete of course)

It looks very professional and the mouse implementation is very neat. Love the little guy.

I am pretty clueless on the game right now, but it seems rather interesting to me. I'll be anticipating the final release.

Surely you jest Rinku, even I know that nobody here has a worthwhile opinion on games. You'd be better off handpicking a team of playtesters. I probably won't even release Transylvania 2 to the public but rather email it myself to people who are interested.

i'm not after worthwhile opinions on games, i'm after worthwhile opinions on zfrt, and as zfrt is not exactly a game, those two things are distinct.

and rpgspotKHAN, i like your idea of making a ton of money. i will aim to make zfrt make a ton of money, in PENNIES.

i calculated with jsangspar and gizmog1 that a ton of money in pennies would be 2000$ if you use a metric ton, and 1666$ if you use an imperial short ton. therefore if zfrt makes 1666$ (its making-of cd will be sold for about 10$ net profit, so that means i need to sell 167 copies) i will officially have made a ton of money with zfrt.
