This question is just for fun, and could help some people out.

What game do you think gets more downloads? Games that give a full summery of a game, characters, and a whole lot more stuff? Or games that just say, 'new demo. great game." or just like one or two sentances.

Personally, I just look at the screen shot. If it looks nice, "download". I don't anything else is going to change the direction of my arrow thingy, except for a bad review grade.

I think the most downloads go to the most well known and well liked authors who may or may not have a reputation for their talent.

Yeah... I mean, check out my downloads. They're influenced by the fact that most of the people who've played the games downloaded them years ago, but that number still can't be more than a few hundred.

Now look at FFH.

Ok, maybe not, but I think it has something to do with it.

PHC is dead right about hamster republic's list though, it is WAY fat.

i was looking at some games to see any trends in download counts and i realized that most games with a lot eather have really good or bad scores(not counting mine Oookay...

). probably with the bad ones only for a joke thought.

i'm new to this website but I know about the OHR and I have been attempting to make a game on it but it is very hard.

I'd say the most downloaded OHR game as well as my favorite is Final Fantasy H, good work to the person that made it as well Razz

I think people download games with nice looking graphics, assuming that, because the graphics are pretty, the game will be fun and full of stuff to do. Not always true, sadly... Neutral

Don't forget, people also like to download games with a really really bad rating. Just to see what Not to do for a game. Or just to see who could've made such a creation.
