I'm fairly sure the original Wanderers was composed over eight years ago. It's one of my best songs from that era. Some of you may remember it from its first game debut, "Never Forget," but that's so old by now that I doubt that more than a handful of you have played it.
The song holds a soft spot in my heart, so on a whim I decided to make an arrangement of it. For any and all interested, here it is. Nothing too fancy, just a tribute to the original song. _________________

*rubs hands together* All right let's see here. Never played the original, nor have I ever heard the OST for the original, so here goes nothing.
It sounds very organized. It's catchy, actually. I really think the support is great too. It's nice and full with the back up woodwinds there. It more than does justice for the original. A couple things to maybe consider, my friend. First of all, and it might just be me, and I like your idea of how the song begins, but it may be a sukoshi bit too quiet before it gets louder. Also, I think the strings that come up 13 seconds in, and then fade out never to return, they could have stayed in. It would have made this even fuller. Pretty sure. There is always another level to be obtained. A true masterpiece is never finished. You know all the old sayings.
Good work, though, Moogs. I'm trying not to smile, but this makes me happy. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Not bad at all. I'd personally prefer something faster and more driving for a world-map piece - something that embodies PIONEERING, MOVING FORWARD, AWESOME WORLD-SAVING INITIATIVE AND MOMENTUM. However, with a title like "Wanderers," this speed prolly fits better.
Overall the song is nice, although it's a bit repetative. The last part, where the melody changes, feels awkward. I think it's because the melody line that comes in has a few too many notes to fit into the same number of measures as the original melody, resulting in notes added to it that feel tacked on and an overall sense of awkward. _________________ UP DOWN UP DOWN LEFT LEFT RIGHT RIGHT A B START |
