A brand new thread (I didn't want to have people trudging through 23 pages of bickering and unrelated junk) means a brand new topic: Jade's release!
Gamelist entry for people to write reviews to
*cue dramatic music*
note: the installer includes a VDMS installer but does not install VDMS itself. You will need to install 2.1.1 to be able to use the convienent VDMS shortcut.
This now concludes work that started in August of 1999. And now, we move onto our next project... |

First download, you say? I had if for 15-20 min. now. I just didn't post cuz I thought it would seem rude.
Oh, and why can't I hear anything? I get sound in my game and other ohr games, but not this one.
I use vdms, btw.

Heh. You said Saturday night. It actually got released early.
Got VDMS to work on my mac, and everything runs at about 2 frames a minute, so I'll have to install it on my dad's laptop to play

Start -> Programs -> Sword of Jade -> Play with VDMS emulation
The desktop shortcut doesn't use VDMS.
If you really really want to, you can put Jade (jade.rpg) in with your other RPG files, but remember that it won't work in Rusalka, the upcoming version of the OHRRPGCE |

It asked me what program it should use...what do I do?
I'll probably put it in the folder w/ my other games, but what do you mean, by "Rusalka"?

Squall answered the Rusalka thing.
If it's asking you what program you want to use, you don't have the latest VDMS installed. Run the VDMS_2[1].1.1.exe in C:\Program Files\RPGCreations\JadePD. You will then be able to use the VDMS shortcut. |
